"Someone put me in touch with State Farm through a personal connection and John gave me a call quickly. He was very personal on the phone and explained everything so I understood exactly how I was being covered and gave great advice. "Alex Finn state farm agent at Caywood Ins and Fin SVCS, Inc. 501 East University Ave, Ste 1 Champaign, IL 61820 contacted me on 7/2 saying he wanted to get back my business and quoted auto and home plus rental home bundle for a discount compared to my current plan. I contact with him multiple times through out the process through phone and email. I asked him multiple time to make sure I have insurance coverage for all auto, home and rental property before I cancel because I didn’t want to scramble to get insurance last min. He confirmed over the phone and email that I was covered and can cancel my other insurance. When i check the state farm website and realized that my rental property was not insured a week or so later I contacted him and he said it cannot be insured? Told me to go back to my previous insurance for my rental property but now they won’t accept me while he keeps my home and auto with him. Called their office fl complain and they said that Alex did nothing wrong the insurance was “binded” meaning I am insured only for the short term for my rental property and now cannot get any insurance on my rental property while their agency takes my money for the other policy. But now won’t insure my rental, even though their agent deceived me to cancel my rental policy before everything was confirmed by talking to me in slang only their agent understands. They say they look for someone else to insure me since they cannot but will not tell me when and how much so I could pay 3-4 times I paid in my previous insurance. Agents and manager of agency all scammer when I called to complain they said there is no complaint department. State farm has to take responsibility for their agent or make sure this does not happen lose all customers."

"I had to take 2 stars off simply because the office manager is very rude. She tries to speak over the customers like its her way or no way at all. YOU SIMPLY MUST HEAR HER OUT kind of thing. Am already trying to find a better company."

"What a joke of an office, they blatantly told my daughter that "they've went above and beyond for a liability claim". 1. The accident was NOT her fault. 2. They want her to do ALL the leg work. 3. She has a 2nd vehicle with full coverage and her homeowners there. Why should anyone be treated less than, because of the coverages they hold. They are still paying customers!!!! Never have I encountered this type of business from a SF agent office. And I have been a SF customer for 41 years and a former agent employee (different office). 0 Stars"

We’ve been available since our initial conversation and have reached out multiple times, even while I was out of town, to help her through this frustrating situation. We treat all customers equally, regardless of their coverage choices. However, opting out of certain coverages does limit the assistance we can provide. Rest assured, we remain committed to helping your daughter and will continue to follow up. Unfortunately, we're completely dependent on the other company's process, which is beyond our control. While we've been in continual communication, we have reached out to your daughter again to make sure nothing has changed since we talked to her earlier in the week. "
